Finding your Genealogical Okapi – 10 Places You May Not Know to Look

It wasn’t very long ago that the existence of the “half giraffe – half zebra” like creature called the Okapi was just a myth.  Sometimes in our genealogical research it can feel like that elusive family member cant be found or proven to exist either.  genealogical okapi

The folks at Ancestry Magazine have compiled a list of 10 obvious places to look for not so obvious information about those elusive ancestors.  The list reminds us to use our regular sources of information to be aware of data that we may not be actively looking for at the time to give us clues.
